How will we work together?

All Stages of the Program

I work with you as an individual, understanding that you have special needs, unique goals and singular talents. A one-size-fits-all approach doesn't work for anyone. You need your issues addressed directly with approaches that will work for your style and personality. 

In our coaching sessions we'll work to build your marketing knowledge and skills to produce consistent results: more of your ideal clients.  

I work in partnership with my clients as a coach who helps develop clarity, direction, goals, and plans and then works to successfully develop and implement those plans.

I don’t do marketing for my clients, I help them learn and ultimately master the concepts, approaches, and actions necessary to attract clients consistently.

Early Stages of the Program

First, we discuss purpose, goals what you want to accomplish and what you want things to be like in your business and marketing. We also look at what you’ve done up to this point and what might be holding you back.

We get clear on what is important to you, your interests, skills and abilities and what you want to focus on, and also what skills and practices you want to improve.

Next, we work on messaging and positioning and zero in on what you’re offering, who your clients are, the outcomes of your services and what makes you unique, special and different.

We then work on developing various marketing materials, including articles, blogs, and other content such as web pages, sales pages, letters, emails, presentations, and proposals.

We work to bring out your authentic voice and natural confidence in communicating with others through the spoken and written word, making connections and reaching out effectively to the people in your marketplace.

Middle Stages of the Program

We explore ideas, models, strategies, tactics, and communication approaches to get the attention and interest of prospective clients.

We help you determine what marketing strategies will work best for you. Then we provide training, coaching, and resources for a wide variety of marketing strategies such as direct outreach, networking, writing, speaking, and online marketing. 

We discuss possibilities and approaches for most effectively accomplishing your marketing goals with the strategies we choose together. We work on developing marketing action plans, strategies and tactics for marketing success.

Later Stages of the Progam

We work with you on all aspects of the prospecting and selling/enrollment process, which includes follow-up, setting up meetings, conducting the selling interview (strategy sessions), negotiating and closing.

We assist you in developing new services and programs and then help you write materials for those program, and create marketing campaigns to launch these services and programs.

We work with you on motivation, getting unstuck, tapping into your vision, purpose and inspiration and helping you uncover new possibilities for taking your business to the next level.

At the end of our work together you are a more confident, capable marketer of your services and programs who is now consistently attracting more of your ideal clients.

 What is the structure of this program?

This is what our coaching relationship will look like:

- I work with clients typically from six to ten months (when you're done, you're done).

- We'll usually meet by Zoom Video or by phone for an hour to 75 minutes, usually twice a month.

- We'll engage in in-depth conversations during each session where we'll create your future, make plans to get there and face any obstacles fearlessly. 

- I'll share proven marketing ideas and strategies with very specific how-tos and provide you resources and materials to help you understand what to do and how to do it. 

- You'll leave each session with clarity about what to work on next, including step-by-step plans. And I'll hold you accountable for taking action. 

- Between sessions you'll work on assignments to learn about marketing, develop strategies and materials and then implement what you learn.

- You'll have access to me by email and phone between sessions, if needed. If you have a question, need a resource or want some quick feedback, you don't need to wait until your next individual session. 

- You'll fill out a Client Report Form before each session to let me know what you've been working on between sessions. This helps us get off to a fast start each session.

By the way, I work with many international clients, almost always by Zoom video so the calls themselves are free. I've worked with clients from England, Australia, New Zealand, England, South Africa, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Denmark, Germany, Czech Republic, France and more. So as long as we can work out meeting times, distance is not an issue.
